Engagement Ring Hidden in a Pendant: an Unforgettable Gift One Year in the Making!

Wedding proposals come in all sorts of fashions, but the way Terry proposed to his girlfriend Anna is in a whole different league of its own.

Honestly, it's both our favorite engagement gift AND our favorite wedding proposal at the same time. You'll have a hard time finding something on that level, and we're not even sure you'll actually find something.

(Ping us if you do!)

So, what's it all about? For a quick look, check out the story told by the man himself:

Basically, the whole thing looks like a sweet wooden pendant. It's simple, rustic, but full of genuine affection for the recipient. In other words, it's a perfect first-year anniversary gift. 🥰

What makes it special is what Terry put inside pendant: an engagement ring!

Anna wore Terry's pendant every single day for the next year and a half - a period full of adventures, travels, and pictures.

Then, the couple visited the Smoo Cave in northern Scotland, a place they both dreamed to check out one day. Coincidence or not, the word "Smoo" comes from an ancient Norse word meaning "hideout, hiding place."

“Before we actually went down to the cave, I asked if I could have the necklace to take some photos of it among the rocks, which gave me a quick chance to break the seal with a knife,” Terry told.

Then, after an auto-timed photo, Terry knelt down before Anna, cracked open the pendant against the ground, and popped the question to Anna. Of course, she said YES. 😍

“Wait…it’s been in there the entire time?!! I could have lost it you f— idiot!!”

This legendary wedding proposal is borderline genius, and here's why:

  • It's insanely original, one of the best things a wedding proposal can be
  • It's full of genuine emotions, not just something super-expensive that's bound to be remembered just because it cost a lot of money
  • Anna will always remember Terry like the loyal and dedicated man that had already made his mind after their very first year together - and then lived up to his decision a year and a half later

So, what do you think of Terry's proposal? Totally fabulous, right?!
